Tools for internal communication
Destinet Intranet is a highly flexible tool that makes it easy to set up small and large intranets.

Easy editing and scaling

Destinet Intranet makes it easy to update and expand your intranet. It has the same user friendliness and predictability that Destinet Web has. You edit and publish in the same way, but only for a particular user group. You can cross connect information between the intranet and the web, so you do not need to update multiple sites.

An intranet that is made with Destinet can also be expanded in both scope and functionality.

This also means that the implementation time and cost is quite low compared to other solutions.

Easy Access rights

Destinet Intranet uses role-based rights management. This provides you with full control over user permissions, making them easy to adjust.

The ability to define several different roles makes it possible for you to define access to pages as well as individual modules.

Customer or partner login

Set up a separate site on the intranet where your partners or customers can log in and share information.

You can delegate permissions freely to read, modify or upload files.

SSO (Single sign-on)

All users must log into the intranet with a username and password. This is one of the biggest challenges an organization will meet in launching an intranet. With Destinet SSO, users are automatically logged in to the intranet.

Destinet supports SSO authentication towards its own user database, AD or other services that support the LDAP protocol.

AD integration

If your organization currently has AD (Active Directory), it can be linked to the intranet. This way, users can log in with the same username and password used in their other systems.

AD's user groups are also connected, allowing you to control the rights on the intranet with AD administration.

Direct editing of documents

Are you tired of inconvenient document management? Are you struggling with keeping documents updated? Do you have control of the documents on the intranet?

Destinet Intranet supports direct editing of Office documents. For example if you select a Word document, this opens automatically in Word. You can make changes, save, and then the changes are active on the web. If two people try to make changes simultaneously, the second user will be notified that the document is locked.

If your clients have SharePoint controls for Internet Explorer installed, you can also directly edit all files, not only Office documents. There is also revision control on the documents with a full list of all changes made.
